Denise Jordan, C.F.T., is a Forensic Trauma Consultant, researcher, and professional educator with more than two decades of experience in criminal justice, victim advocacy, and multidisciplinary system response. 

Beginning her career in crime scene investigation and later serving within a California prosecutor’s office as a victim advocate, supervisor, and Crisis Response Team Lead for incidents of mass victimization, Denise’s experience spans complex criminal cases, cold-case homicides, death-penalty trials, and large-scale victim response.

Denise’s professional experience also extends beyond direct system response. Her work has been published in professional publications addressing crime victim advocacy, victim behavior, and the application of research to professional practice. She has also served on the Board of Directors of a nonprofit family crisis center, broadening her perspective across victim services, community response, organizational leadership, and professional education.

Today, Denise brings research, human behavior, and real-world experience together to make complex information accessible and applicable. Her work explores victim behavior, trauma response, offender-victim dynamics, communication, decision-making, emerging technologies, and evolving challenges affecting victims, professionals, and communities.

Through Denise Jordan Consulting, LLC, she develops professional and community education, certificate programs, consulting, and applied learning experiences for professionals, organizations, and individuals seeking to better understand, prevent, navigate, and respond to crime victimization.

She also works with organizations to develop educational solutions tailored to their audience, needs, and goals—from on-demand crime prevention and awareness presentations to digital courses, multi-part educational series, and comprehensive academy and program curriculum.

At the center of her work is a simple mission: helping professionals and communities better understand, prevent, and respond to crime victimization.
