ABOUT DENISE JORDAN

Forensic Trauma Consultant

Specializing in trauma-informed system response, victim behavior, and applied forensic expertise

Denise Jordan, C.F.T., is a Forensic Trauma Consultant with more than two decades of experience at the intersection of criminal justice, victim advocacy, and system response. Her work is grounded in one core objective:

Bridging trauma science with real-world practice—so professionals can recognize victim behavior, make informed decisions, and respond with clarity and effectiveness in complex, high-stakes environments.

Beginning her career in crime scene investigation and later working within a prosecutor’s office in California’s Central Valley, Denise developed a critical insight that continues to shape her work:

Systems are often built around process and evidence—but not always around how victims and professionals experience those systems.

Her work bridges that gap by translating trauma science into applied, practical training that reflects the realities professionals encounter in the field and in the courtroom. Through a structured, scenario-based approach, her training helps professionals understand victim behavior, trauma response, and system dynamics—so they can respond with greater clarity, confidence, and effectiveness in real-world situations.

Her work is designed for professionals operating at the intersection of trauma, victimization, and system response—where decisions, communication, and real-time response directly impact outcomes.
