ABOUT DENISE JORDAN
Forensic Trauma & Victim Response Consultant
Specializing in trauma-informed system response, victim behavior, and applied forensic insight
Denise Jordan, C.F.T., is a Forensic Trauma & Victim Response Consultant with more than two decades of experience at the intersection of criminal justice, victim advocacy, and system response.
Her work focuses on strengthening how professionals, communities, and systems understand and respond to trauma and victimization. She provides specialized education, training, and consulting that translate complex concepts into clear, practical application—making them accessible, actionable, and relevant to real-world practice. Her work equips professionals to recognize and contextualize trauma-related response patterns, particularly in high-stakes, investigative, and legal settings, communicate effectively, and respond with clarity and purpose.
Denise began her career as a civilian crime scene investigator and later worked within a prosecutor’s office, gaining firsthand insight into both the immediate and long-term impact of trauma. Across these roles, she identified a critical gap: systems were built around evidence and procedure—but not around understanding human response. That insight continues to shape her work.
In addition to her professional work, Denise served on the Board of Directors for a family crisis center, supporting organizational leadership and community-based victim services.
Through her training, consulting, and educational initiatives, Denise helps professionals and communities move beyond awareness into informed, intentional, and effective response—grounded in understanding, applied in practice.
