ABOUT DENISE

Denise Jordan is the Owner and CEO of Denise Jordan Consulting, LLC, bringing over 20 years of experience in criminal justice and victim advocacy. She is widely recognized for her expertise in supporting victims and strengthening community responses to crime.

Denise began her career in crime scene investigation and spent the majority of her professional journey serving as a crime victim advocate, ultimately advancing to a supervisory role within a prosecutor’s office. Her work has provided her with extensive experience in Crime Victim Advocacy, Forensic Traumatology, Child Trauma, Crisis Intervention, and Emergency Crisis Response. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice Administration, has completed numerous professional certifications, and received specialized Crime Scene Investigation training through the FBI’s San Francisco Division.

An active member of leading professional organizations, Denise is affiliated with the American Academy of Experts in Traumatic Stress, the National Center for Crisis Management, and the International Trainers and Speakers Bureau. She is a past board member of the Central California Family Crisis Center and was recognized by the National Organization for Victim Advocacy (NOVA) as an honorary awardee for the Margery Fry award in 2019.

Through her consulting practice, Denise provides customized training and guidance to schools, law enforcement agencies, non-profits, and faith-based organizations, helping communities reduceĀ crime and respond effectively to victimization. Her specialized consulting services make her a trusted partner in building safer, more resilient communities.

Outside of her professional work, Denise enjoys exploring the outdoors—often in the mountains—coffee in hand and a good book nearby. She loves the cozy, rainy days of fall and winter, listens to contemporary jazz, and treasures travel adventures with her husband and their Shih Tzu. Denise is passionate about serving others through her church and community, and she values time spent with family and friends.
