ABOUT DENISE JORDAN
Founder| Denise Jordan Consulting, LLC | Researcher | Professional Educator | Forensic Trauma Consultant
Translating trauma science, human behavior, emerging technologies, and real-world experience into confident, informed professional practice.
Denise Jordan, C.F.T., is a Forensic Trauma Consultant, researcher, and professional educator with more than two decades of experience at the intersection of criminal justice, victim advocacy, and multidisciplinary system response.
At the center of her work is a simple mission:
Translating trauma science, human behavior, emerging technologies, and real-world experience into confident, informed professional practice.
Beginning her career in crime scene investigation and later serving within a California prosecutor's office as a victim advocate, victim advocate supervisor, and Crisis Response Team Lead, Denise developed a critical insight that continues to shape her work:
Professional systems are designed to evaluate facts, evidence, and process, yet the human dynamics that influence victim behavior, decision-making, communication, and system response are often more difficult to recognize in real-world practice.
Today, Denise bridges that gap through evidence-informed, scenario-based immersive education that translates complex research into practical application. Her work equips professionals to better understand victim behavior, trauma response, offender-victim dynamics, communication, decision-making, and the emerging challenges shaping professional practice.
Her education serves prosecutors, law enforcement, victim advocates, healthcare professionals, educators, faith leaders, and multidisciplinary teams working where trauma, victimization, human behavior, emerging technologies, and system response intersect. While her work is rooted in criminal justice and victim advocacy, the principles extend across disciplines where informed decisions influence outcomes for individuals, organizations, and communities.
As professional practice continues to evolve, Denise remains committed to translating emerging research and real-world challenges into practical education that helps professionals adapt with confidence while preserving evidence-informed, victim-centered practice.
Through Denise Jordan Consulting, LLC, Denise develops professional education, certificate programs, strategic consulting, and immersive learning experiences that strengthen professional practice, improve system response, and prepare organizations for the evolving challenges facing victims and the professionals who serve them.
